The II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth" has launched at the National Centre RUSSIA. Udaya Mohan Devadas, a Professor of Human Resource Management at the University of Kelaniya from Sri Lanka, is participating in the event for the second time and shared his impressions. He admitted his delight at returning to the dialogue platform and spoke about the aspects of the programme that particularly caught his interest.

"The Open Dialogue has become larger, and the section for investments in human capital has also developed; there are more participants. Russian weather with snow is a first in my life, just a wonderful day. Perhaps it is a little difficult for you, but I like such weather. However, the most interesting thing here is that I am sharing some important aspects of my work in the field of education. Therefore, I am interested to see what the contest will be like in the section for investments in human capital, and I look forward to the results of the other sessions over the next couple of days," said Udaya Mohan Devadas.

This year, 102 authors from 43 countries advanced to the in-person stage following interviews. The extensive three-day programme will combine expert discussions, presentations by authors of the best essays from around the world, and informal networking with experts.

The II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth" is implemented in partnership with the Centre for Cross-Industry Expertise "Third Rome" and with the support of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia.
