Build a rocket and grow a soil "pie" - Science Week at the St. Petersburg stand on February 6-11
Get acquainted with a unique facility for nuclear plasma research, work with exoskeleton and drones - to mark the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg University and the Russian Academy of Sciences, the thematic "Scientific St. Petersburg" week will be held at the RUSSIA EXPO from February 6 to 11.
A robot-musician will be working at the St. Petersburg stand all week. Future engineers will assemble an airplane, parking sensor or graphite crystal lattice from the offered parts, construct a rocket, learn to distinguish rocks and render first aid. They will also grow a soil "pie" under the guidance of professional soil scientists.
Most of the events are designed for schoolchildren and families with children. Everyone will be able to prove themselves as a researcher, inventor or history expert.
Special emphasis is placed on robotics and drones: the development of unmanned vehicles for agriculture and industry will be presented. Visitors will be taught how to fly an unmanned aerial vehicle or robot on a test range.
Guests of St. Petersburg's stand will see the operation of an exoskeleton, a unique collection of lace products, learn how a modern airport and a smart seaport function. With the help of virtual reality glasses, you can visit the Konstantinovsky Palace or take a flight along a complicated route.
Future applicants will be interested in the unified portal of science and higher (professional) education of St. Petersburg. The project will introduce universities and colleges of the city.
The guests of the exposition are expected to meet with the famous psychologist Tatiana Chernigovskaya, cosmonaut Andrey Borisenko, famous scientists.
TV presenter Arina Sharapova will hold a masterclass, and Dmitry Khrustalyov will interview a student developer of the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation.
The event, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Federal Tax Service, was held at the National Centre RUSSIA on 20 November.
The School Students Forum has become a platform where young people can explore the educational and career opportunities offered by the Far East.
