Pine trees and mountains will decorate the Altai region’s stand at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Altai region will show real pine forests and mountain peaks at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
The stand of the Altai region will be framed by pine trees symbolizing the famous forests of Altai — ribbon pine forests. The top of the stand will be made in the shape of the mountainous terrain the region is known for.
"Blue and sky-blue elements in the design are intended to emphasize the purity of the air of the resort area of the town of Belokurikha, the health-improving properties of which are confirmed by the results of scientific research. The floor of the stand will depict how two rivers — the Biya and the Katun — merge to form the Ob River, on which the capital of the Altai region is located", — the Ministry of Economic Development of the region informed.
In its exposition the region will present technological, infrastructural, social achievements, will tell about prospects in various spheres: from industry to youth policy. The ministry noted that the emphasis will be placed on the diversity of the presented industries.
