Create your own handmade doll with a soul at a workshop at the National Centre RUSSIA!
The New Year is a time when even adults begin to believe in
magic. The National Centre RUSSIA invites you not only to believe in it, but to
create it with your own hands. On 14 December at 12:00, a creative workshop on
making a fabric doll will be held at the Centre. It will become a symbol of the
winter fairy tale and the main holiday of the year. Registration is available
in the "Events" section on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA.
Under the guidance of experienced masters, guests will learn
basic techniques for making dolls inspired by Russian folk tales. Participants
will also be able to assemble and decorate their own fairy-tale character,
giving it a unique personality and festive New Year spirit.
The workshop is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with
family or friends, take a break from the pre-holiday bustle and enjoy a few
moments of calm, meaningful creativity. The finished doll can be hung on the
New Year tree, given as a gift or kept as a personal talisman for the year
ahead.
Please note: the National Centre RUSSIA welcomes
participants aged 6 and above. Children under 14 may join the workshop only
when accompanied by a parent and/or legal guardian. Please arrive at the West
Entrance of the National Centre RUSSIA (accreditation desk) 15 minutes before
the workshop begins, as latecomers' places may be given to other guests.
