The SHUM Award public voting has begun: winners will be announced on December 4 at the National Centre RUSSIA

People can select their favorites until December 1 on the Award's VKontakte page. The winners will be announced on December 4 at the National Centre RUSSIA.
"To attract truly strong and talented young people, we held dozens of meetings at universities across the country, talking about SHUM’s opportunities. We organized unique blog tours with award participants: visiting the ATOM Museum, hosting the first-ever blog tour in the LPR and DPR, and even traveling to the Baikonur Cosmodrome to witness a rocket launch. Ahead, we plan a blog tour to the Beloyarsk NPP. These incredible opportunities were available to young media professionals right from the application stage," noted Tatiana Mandrykina, Head of the Year-Round Youth Educational Centre of Rosmolodezh "SHUM" (which can be translated as "NOISE").
On December 4 at the National Centre RUSSIA, during the final stage, the finalists will present their projects to experts for evaluation. The award winners will receive cash prizes of 750,000 rubles each, along with bonuses and gifts from partners, including internships, participation in educational programs, and involvement in major media projects.

Participants' work reaffirms that journalists and media professionals must master diverse skills: shooting and editing videos, creating photo content, analyzing and reflecting, ensuring quality interpretation and verification of information, building strategies, and staying relevant. SHUM is already a significant community and an exchange of media practices. I am confident that participants will continue engaging even after the results are announced," shared Roman Karmanov, SHUM ambassador, expert for the 'Our People' category, and Director General of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
