The National Centre RUSSIA stand is one of the most visited at "INNOPROM. India"
The Department Store, the flagship project of the National Centre RUSSIA, has become the heart of the International Industrial Trade Fair "INNOPROM", introducing visitors to the culture, traditions and craftsmanship of Russia's regions. It is one of the most visited spaces at the fair and attracts strong interest from international guests in Russian manufacturers. Anton Atrashkin, Program Director of INNOPROM, spoke about this.
"INNOPROM operates in many countries around the world, whether in Russia, Uzbekistan, China or, as today, India. And our exposition has a soul — the National Centre RUSSIA stand. There are always many people here and always a special atmosphere. Ours is an industrial trade fair: there is machinery, vehicles and equipment on display. But people come here to experience what Russia is. Our music and the Russian language can be heard here, and many regions are represented. International visitors really love this stand, as if they had travelled to our beautiful country, and they leave smiling and in a wonderful mood," said Anton Atrashkin, Program Director of INNOPROM.
He added that the National Centre RUSSIA stand is one of the most visited at the fair. According to him, guests are happy to take a piece of Russia home with them in the form of souvenirs and folk arts and crafts.
Krishan Kumar, Deputy General Manager at the India Trade Promotion Organisation, also visited the exposition and shared his impressions of the National Centre RUSSIA stand: "The pavilion layout is excellent — it is very, very well thought out. And the presentation of the exhibits is truly of international standard, and we really like how everything is presented here."
The International Industrial Trade Fair "INNOPROM. India" is taking place in New Delhi from 9 to 11 September. The National Centre RUSSIA is presenting its flagship project, the Department Store, at the event, along with a cultural zone introducing visitors to Russian folk arts and crafts and the diversity of the country's regions. One of the Department Store's main missions in India is to showcase the traditions of Russian decorative and applied art. Artisans work at the centre of the space, demonstrating traditional techniques and telling visitors about the distinctive features of their crafts. Guests can find a limited-edition series of Russian nevalyashka (roly-poly toy) figures in an Indian-inspired design, wooden and crystal products, clothing featuring quotes by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and a variety of delicacies from across the country.
The event is organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The fair is taking place ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit and brings together more than 130 companies from Russia and India to develop business contacts and joint industrial projects.
The International Industrial Trade Fair "INNOPROM. India", held at the Bharat Mandapam complex in New Delhi from 9 to 11 September, has concluded.
