Russian State Social University student to present Open Dialogue outcomes at SPIEF
Yelizaveta Romanova, a student at the Russian State Social University, will speak at the presentation of the report on the outcomes of the Open Dialogue at the National Centre RUSSIA, and will also take part in a session of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum. For her, the Open Dialogue became a unique opportunity not only to exchange experience with international colleagues but also to receive support for her essay from recognised global experts.
The presentation of the report "Shaping a New Platform for Global Growth," based on the outcomes of the Open Dialogue, will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA on June 16. The report contains an analytical review of global trends that were formulated by participants of the Open Dialogue from over 100 countries. The document also includes materials from essay authors, written for the Open Dialogue across four areas: investments in human capital, technology, connectivity, and the environment.
"I have only positive emotions from participating in the Open Dialogue of the National Centre RUSSIA. It was the people who left the most positive impression: the organisers, technicians, speakers, and participants. When I visited the centre on the first day of the Open Dialogue, I was surprised by the scale of the event and, most importantly, by the friendly attitude of people towards each other," Yelizaveta Romanova shared.
The author emphasised that the National Centre RUSSIA became a unique space for Open Dialogue participants to exchange experience. The event format provided an opportunity to present her work at an international level and receive the highest level of support.
"I was told that Joseph Potvin, an expert from Canada, personally voted for my essay on the final day of the Open Dialogue, as the topic of my presentation proved to be highly relevant. Colleagues shared the most important thing – their experience. Their level of practical and theoretical knowledge is so vast that, even when discussing completely different fields of activity, they could see their own ideas within them, which, upon further development, could lead to the creation of an entirely new project," the student explained.
Yelizaveta Romanova will participate in both the press conference of the National Centre RUSSIA on June 16 and the SPIEF 2025 session, which will also be dedicated to the presentation of the report "Shaping a New Platform for Global Growth" based on the outcomes of the Open Dialogue. At the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, Yelizaveta will raise the topic of integrating economics, medicine, and the social sphere.
"From my point of view, the main problems in the world will always be economics, medicine, and the social sphere. And these three factors are comparable: they include unequal pay for people, shortcomings in the pharmaceutical sector, and the lack of a more stable economy for the majority," Yelizaveta Romanova noted.
The session dedicated to the final report of the Open Dialogue will be moderated by Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation. Essay authors from the Open Dialogue and invited international experts will also take part in the discussion.
The press conference on June 16 will be streamed on the website russia.ru and on the social media channels of the National Centre RUSSIA.
