A couple from Saint Petersburg celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Solovyov family from St. Petersburg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the RUSSIA EXPO. The jubilarians were given a detailed tour of Pavilion No. 75. They browsed all the stands of the regions and shared their impressions.
"This is a grand and wonderful Exposition. If we take into account that we have been to half of these regions a long time ago, back in the Soviet times, then, of course, it was pleasant to appreciate the changes and transformations that have taken place in the subjects of our large and huge country. We see that there are a lot of children at the Exposition. This is very important, because it undoubtedly fosters a sense of patriotism: after visiting it, you feel proud of your Motherland," said Boris and Marina Solovyov.
At the same time, the couple noted that in addition to the exposition of St. Petersburg, which displayed "incredible beauty of drawbridges", the jubilarians also liked the stands of the Far East and the Krasnodar region. According to the Solovyov family, their beauty and incredibility "create the feeling that you are there right now".
Boris and Marina met in 1969. They are both originally from St. Petersburg and their first meeting took place at the Leningrad Physical and Mechanical Technical College, where the future spouses studied together. After that, the couple went to a construction detachment together and after a while they got married.
Boris Alekseevich is engaged in business, and Marina Viktorovna - in gardening and growing exotic plants brought from different countries. In their venerable years, the couple travel a lot around the world and lead an active lifestyle. The couple has two daughters, as well as four grandsons and one granddaughter.
