Take a trip to the theater and snowboard: stunning photo zones in the heart of Moscow
The National Centre RUSSIA offers a unique location where visitors can take photos against the backdrop of Russia’s natural wonders and iconic landmarks. Residents and guests of Moscow can embark on an exciting journey from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad and capture vibrant moments for free at the "Journey Across Russia" exposition.
One of the most popular photo zones is the throne of the Mistress of the Copper Mountain. Located in the Ural exposition, it transports visitors to the depths of the Ural lands. Here, guests can not only take a stunning royal-style photo but also learn fascinating facts about minerals and gemstones. With the help of artificial intelligence, visitors can even transform into a marble sculpture on an interactive screen.
The North Caucasus exposition allows visitors to step into a forest and swing on greenery-wrapped swings. This photo zone is dedicated to the jewel of the Republic of Dagestan — the Samur Forest. Nearby, guests can see the Aktoprak Pass and a detailed model of one of Russia and Europe’s largest mosques, "The Heart of Chechnya." The grand structure serves as a magnificent backdrop for memorable photos.
The Southern Federal District exposition invites guests to pose on a snowboard against the backdrop of snow-covered mountains, while the Arctic zone offers a chance to visit a real yurt and capture a unique interior setting.
Visitors can also step onto the stage of the Mariinsky Theatre at the Northwest exposition, where an interactive installation, "Photo Zone with an Orchestra," features a projection of the famous Golovin theatre curtain.
The "Journey Across Russia" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA is available for guided tours. It’s better to register in advance — the tour lasts 90 minutes, and sign-up is available on the website russia.ru.
