A theatrical lecture and a flash mob: a dialogue with Matusovsky's Heritage at the National Centre RUSSIA
On July 20, the National Centre RUSSIA invites guests to the interactive event "Speak like Matusovsky", a part of the cycle "Masterpieces. The best in Russia." This is not just a cultural event, but a deep dialogue with the country's poetic heritage through the immortal lines of Mikhail Matusovsky.
Mikhail Matusovsky is a poet whose works have become part of the cultural code of the nation. The author of lyrics to the legendary songs "Moscow Nights", "Where the Motherland Begins", "Moscow Windows", and other masterpieces, he created works that have united generations of Russians for more than half a century.
The programme of the event combines modern formats with classical content:
- a theatrical lecture will take guests back to the poet's era, will reveal the secrets of his work and influence on the Russian culture;
- a mass reading of the work "Where the Motherland Begins" will unite all guests in a live performance.
The special feature of the project is its interactivity. The guests will not just hear poetry, but will become participants of the creative process, literally breathing new life into classical works. Each participant will have an opportunity to read lines from "Moscow Nights" together with professional actors.
The event will be part of the "World of Poetry" poetic cycle. This cycle makes the attendees familiar with Russia's rich literary heritage through a synthesis of theater, music and interactive technologies.
More details and registration are on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA in the "Events" section.
The patchwork exposition "Soul of Russia" is open at the National Centre RUSSIA until July 27.
