The launch of the most "family-oriented" space expedition will be broadcast on the outdoor screen of the National Centre RUSSIA
Today,
November 21, at 14:35 Moscow time, the most "family-oriented"
expedition will embark on its journey into space. The Soyuz-2.1a rocket,
carrying the Progress MS-29 cargo spacecraft adorned with the Year of the
Family logo, will deliver New Year gifts, food supplies, and equipment to the
cosmonauts. The launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome will be broadcast on the
outdoor screen of the National Centre RUSSIA.
It is worth
noting that the Year of the Family was inaugurated by President Vladimir Putin during the RUSSIA EXPO. The President emphasized that strengthening the
well-being of families is a national priority for years to come.
The
expedition launch is part of the 90th mission to supply the International Space
Station. The rocket will lift off from the launch complex of Pad 31 at the
Baikonur Cosmodrome. The expedition will deliver two tons of cargo to the ISS,
including equipment and supplies for station systems, clothing, food, and kits
for experiments such as "Vampire," "Lazma,"
"Fullerene," and "3D Printing."
The Year of
the Family logo on the rocket symbolizes unity and cohesion. In space, as in
any strong family, everyone plays a unique role and contributes to the shared
"ship" reaching new and joyous coasts.
In addition
to the National Centre RUSSIA, the launch of the "family" rocket can
also be watched live on the VK video platform.
