Thousands of visitors to the RUSSIA EXPO played Yaroslavl biryulki

At the stand of the Yaroslavl region at the International RUSSIA EXPO, employees of the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve presented the historical games space Biryulki Hall. Visitors to the exposition were offered to plunge into the world of ancient Russian games - kucha-mala, bloshki, biryulki (spillikins).

Old Russian games do not test strength, but dexterity and wit. Adults and children can play these games - it is a great leisure time without gadgets and the Internet. Yaroslavl museums have a lot of programs and offers for family visitors.

Mysterious biryulki is a set of small objects. It is very simple to play: biryulki are poured out on the table so that they lay in a pile, from which the players take them out one by one using a wire hook or fingers. If during the turn neighboring spillikin moves, the turn goes to the next player. So the movements must be well calibrated. The one who pulls out the most biryulki wins.

"People are very interested in old Russian games. At the exposition, the flow of people did not end all day. With pleasure we told them about our museum, played, gave them souvenirs, communicated and, of course, invited everyone to the Yaroslavl region," said Oleg Nepospekhov, acting head of the department of socio-cultural programs of the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve.
