Unique Kozhlya toys from the Kursk region are available at the National Centre RUSSIA
At the National Centre RUSSIA, the unique "Department Store" space is open for discovering products from across the country. Here, visitors can purchase clothing and accessories, cosmetics and sweets, home decor, and everyday items from the best domestic brands, as well as products from folk craftsmen.
Guests of the National Centre RUSSIA have the opportunity to explore products from the Kursk region. For example, they can try the delicious Korensk and Lgov gingerbread or treat themselves to a traditional Kozhlya toy, which has long become the region’s hallmark.
"On an area of 100 square meters, we present products in four categories: cosmetics, accessories, groceries, and folk crafts. Importantly, the products must reflect the local flavor and contribute to the promotion of the regions. We will expand the list and attract more producers from Kursk", said Anton Vorontsov, Director of the Trade and Service Centre of the Kursk Region.
The key idea behind the "Department Store" at the National Centre RUSSIA is the harmonious combination of traditions, new technologies, and modern design.
It’s worth noting that the "Department Store" project is a new format for presenting and selling Russian products in one place, using a modern platform. At the RUSSIA EXPO, nearly 100 types of folk crafts and products from across the country were showcased. The National Centre RUSSIA continues to support artisans — carriers of Russia’s unique and multifaceted cultural code — and to promote regional brands and creative industry products.
The 650 brands presented in the Department Store at the RUSSIA EXPO remain partners of the project. Their unique products can be found in the online catalog of the Department Store on the official website of the National Centre RUSSIA.
The National Centre RUSSIA was established by order of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to preserve the legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO and to showcase the achievements of the country and its citizens on a permanent basis. Federal government agencies, state companies, corporations, and regions take part in the Centre’s work.
The first event at the National Centre RUSSIA was the International Symposium "Inventing the Future," which welcomed more than 6,000 guests from 101 countries.
Jenan Al-Shehab admitted that, despite her engineering background, she has always loved space and space technologies.
Designed in the spirit of retrofuturism, the Inventions Hall resembles a late XIX-century scientist-inventor’s laboratory.
The event offers an opportunity for everyone interested to get acquainted with the fundamentals of successful communication.
