To see the beauty of the native land: Ivanovo volunteers at the RUSSIA EXPO

Volunteers of the Ivanovo region became participants of the International Forum of Civic Participation #WEARETOGETHER. It is held from December 4 to 8 in Moscow and is part of the RUSSIA EXPO.

The International Forum of Civic Participation #WEARETOGETHER is a key event in the field of volunteerism and social partnership in Russia.

Volunteers take part in a rich educational program. The format is diverse: discussions, meetings, presentations, ceremonies, master classes, workshops, sessions, lectures and much more. The program also included a tour of the pavilions of the RUSSIA EXPO, dedicated to the country's major achievements in science, culture, industry, energy, construction and transport.

In the pavilion of the Ivanovo region volunteers were able to see the beauty and heritage of small towns, "go" to the winter Shuya to the famous festival "Russian Christmas", as well as take part in interactive events. And on the Main Alley of VDNH, the Ivanovo New Year tree attracted special attention of the participants, with toys shaped as Shuya harmonicas, Palekh and Kholui lacquer miniatures, garlands of famous prints of the region.
