Concert program dedicated to the 440th anniversary of Yoshkar-Ola was presented in Moscow

The concert “Future of the Red City” featuring renowned creative ensembles and performers from Mari El took place at the International RUSSIA EXPO. The program was dedicated to the 440th anniversary of the republic's capital.
The audience enjoyed performances by ensembles “Assorti”, “Smile”, “Firebird”, the vocal studio “Zvukograd” and members of the All-Mari Children's Ensemble of Gusli Players. A highlight of the concert was the performances by the “Mari El” dance ensemble and soloists from the Mari State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after E. Sapaev.
“The cultural institutions of the republic and the Mari capital prepared a magnificent concert program. The visitors of the RUSSIA EXPO received the Mari artists with enthusiasm and full houses. We thank the audience for the warm welcome,” said Mari El Deputy Prime Minister Konstantin Ivanov.
The International RUSSIA EXPO has been ongoing since November 4, 2023, at VDNH in Moscow. The Exposition is dedicated to the country’s achievements in various sectors of the economy. The forum will run until July 8, 2024.
