Launch of the All-Russian Competition for Children's Engineering Inventions "Transport Engineers" will take place in Moscow

The launch of the All-Russian Competition for Children's Engineering Inventions "Transport Engineers" will take place on May 31 at 10:00 at VDNH in Pavilion No. 57. The organizer is Movement of the First in collaboration with JSC Russian Railways and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The operator of the competition is the Federal Center for Supplementary Education and Organization of Recreation and Health Improvement for Children of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The competition aims to popularize scientific and technical creativity among children and youth, identify and support children who have shown outstanding abilities in the scientific and technical field across all regions of Russia.

The event will feature a grand launch of the competition with the participation of distinguished guests: First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Alexander Bugaev, Chairman of the Board of the Movement of the First Grigory Gurov, and the Director General and Chairman of the Board of JSC Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov. After the ceremonial opening, an interactive program will be provided for the participants, including masterclasses and various games related to the competition.

Students of educational organizations aged 9 to 18 can participate in the competition. The competition will engage children in professional orientation processes for their future activities for the benefit of the country's scientific and technical development. The competition will be held in two areas: creative and engineering. Within the first, individual area, participants will complete tasks aimed at getting acquainted with the transport industry and developing initial specialized and flexible competencies, including a creative approach.

The engineering direction involves completing tasks aimed at engaging schoolchildren in solving relevant industry problems, immersing them in current technological topics, and identifying and supporting talents in science and engineering. Teams of 5 people aged 13 to 18 will be able to participate in this direction.

During the competition, participants will apply their knowledge in practice and develop project solutions to improve Russia's transport industry. The winners of the qualifying stages will be able to participate in a project-intensive final, where experts will select the best works, and their authors will receive valuable prizes.
