On January
24 at 18:30, a symphonic concert-presentation of contemporary academic music
will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA, organized by the Shostakovich
and Stravinsky publishing house in collaboration with the Union of Eurasian
Composers.
The
evening's program features the premiere performance of Nikita Vorontsov's poem
"The Black Man" for tenor and symphony orchestra (based on the poetry
of Sergei Yesenin). The event will also include Taras Buyevsky's composition
"Spring. Bureaucrats" from the symphonic suite "Eisenstein's
Line," Mikhail Kotelnikov's cantata "Oktoikh" for mixed choir
and string orchestra, and Lyubov Shangina's choral concerto "Memory."
The
performers of the program will be the Mendeleev Filarmonica Symphony Orchestra
of the Dmitri Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (MUCTR),
conducted by Yevgeny Rubtsov, and the Youth Synodal Choir under the direction
of Mikhail Kotelnikov.
Concert
guests will have a unique opportunity to add all the pieces from the program to
their playlists via digital music services. The event will appeal to both
professionals and music enthusiasts, thanks to the efforts of the Shostakovich

to a wide audience.
