International Tourist Guide Day was celebrated at the National Centre RUSSIA
At the National Centre RUSSIA, an event was held in honor of International Tourist Guide Day. The key highlight of the celebration was the recognition of the centre's tour guides for their professionalism, dedication, and contribution to the development of cultural and educational activities.
The Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova, emphasized the importance of the guides' work, highlighting their key role in shaping the perception of the country's cultural legacy.
"A tour guide is a special profession because your words give the first impression and then new knowledge follows. Thank you very much, we are proud and grateful that you help us create something new and beloved. We stand on the threshold of a great undertaking: on March 1, we are opening two unique expositions – 'Journey Across Russia' and 'The Birth of Scale.' I sincerely hope you will see in the eyes of our guests the admiration, pride, and love for our country," said the Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova.
Special attention at the celebration was given to students of the "School of Young Guides." In the near future, they will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills at the exposition "Journey through Russia," which will open on March 1. The Deputy Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Anastasia Zvyagina, highlighted the significance of such educational projects.
"For us, it is very important that today we have the 'School of Young Guides.' This is a unique project, something that has never existed before. We hope the school will continue to develop. Just three weeks ago, we completed a new enrollment, and now the children are undergoing training. We will be able to see Russia through the eyes of children, and therefore through the eyes of the future," noted Anastasia Zvyagina.
Their colleagues from Belarus and representatives of BelExpo congratulated the tour guides on their holiday. Wishes were also conveyed by Andrei Kudelin, the producer of the project "Journey Across Russia."
