The National Centre RUSSIA presented the new project "Journey Across Russia"
The National Centre RUSSIA is installing displays for the new interactive exposition, "Journey Across Russia," where visitors will be able to explore the main landmarks and achievements of all federal districts in just one hour. The renewed exposition space will welcome its first guests in March.
"This
exposition is about our unique country, its people, its glory, and, of course,
its future. We invite everyone not only to see but also to hear, feel, and
discover Russia in a new way. As part of our major gastronomic project,
visitors will also have the opportunity to taste traditional dishes from all
corners of the country, as well as signature recipes from the best chefs of
various regions," said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the
National Centre RUSSIA.
The main
landmarks and achievements of all federal districts of Russia will be showcased
across an area of over 3,000 square meters. Guests will be able to take a
journey across the entire country, from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad, explore key
achievements and iconic sites of the regions, learn about future development
prospects, and choose exciting travel routes for the whole family.
"The
space will be divided into eight thematic zones. We will begin, of course, with
the place where the sun rises — this is the Far East. The final territory will
be the Arctic and the Northwestern region of Russia. The concluding zone is
called the 'Heart Zone.' Here, with the help of a digital postcard, each
visitor will be able to share their impressions of what they have seen and
felt, then send them into a unified digital world to become part of history
preserved in the memory of the National Centre," said Andrei Kudelin, producer
of the "Journey Across Russia" project.
The
"Journey Across Russia" exposition is designed for visitors of all
ages, and registration for free guided tours will be available on the website
russia.ru. The project will combine an exposition space, a gastronomic zone, a
department store, vibrant cultural events, educational activities, and special
programs.
During the all-Russian survey "What does the Motherland begin with?", people across the country are answering this question in their own way, opening up the innermost corners of their souls.
Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
