The installation of the architectural exposition "The Birth of Scale" continues at the National Centre
"The Birth of Scale" exposition will open at the National Centre RUSSIA on March 1. The installation process is ongoing, and multimedia screens are now being set up in the pavilion.
"The Birth of Scale" will be a landmark event showcasing Russia’s architectural legacy. It will introduce visitors to the most striking, ambitious, and unconventional projects, highlighting both past and present concepts. Guests will have the opportunity to learn how architects worked in different historical periods.
The exposition will feature vintage 19th-century drafting tables and models illustrating the design process. Special attention will be given to Russian avant-garde architecture, a movement that has become an integral part of global architectural culture.
A dedicated section will explore the relationship between architecture and art. The exposition will also present projects that have been replicated by leading architects worldwide. Architectural studios will be available for children.
The exposition aims to highlight the scale and grandeur of Russia. Another key goal, as emphasized by its chief curator Andrei Chernikhov, is to demonstrate the brilliance of Russian creativity when it comes to architecture.
At the "Journey Across Russia" exposition one can see the most striking, picturesque natural and man-made sights of our country.
The annual Symposium will unite more than 7,000 experts from the SCO and BRICS countries, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the United States, to develop positive scenarios for the future.
On August 28, the National Centre RUSSIA invites you to an event of the literary club "What to read?!" dedicated to the 100th birth anniversary of Arkady Strugatsky.
