Smolensk Region Day to be held at the National Centre RUSSIA
Seventy activists and mentors from the Smolensk region who have achieved success through the activities of the Movement of the First will take part in the "Smolensk Region Day at the Media House of the First" at the National Centre RUSSIA on 22 November. The regional delegation will join the educational programme, which includes a panel discussion and a presentation of projects and children’s initiatives of the Smolensk region.
During the event, participants will discuss the achievements of the regional branch of the Movement of the First in the Smolensk region, outline promising development areas and review the plan for next year. A presentation of opportunities available to children and young people in the region will also take place.
Honoured guests will include representatives of the Government of the Smolensk region and the legislative authorities of the Russian Federation.
On 22 and 23 November, the delegation from the region will take part in an excursion programme around the National Centre RUSSIA, the Moscow City business district, as well as museums and expositions of the capital.
More than 600 Russian and international students will take part in the event.
The event, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Federal Tax Service, was held at the National Centre RUSSIA on 20 November.
