A series of excursions for young visitors from the Zaporozhye region was held at the National Centre RUSSIA
On December 8, the National Centre RUSSIA welcomed schoolchildren from the Zaporozhye region. Young residents from the social rehabilitation centre and participants in the All-Russian Military-Patriotic Movement "Yunarmiya" visited Moscow at the initiative of the region's governor, Yevgeny Balitsky.
Divided into groups and accompanied by site guides, the children explored the Hall of Inventions and the Library of the Future and attended the interactive exposition "Time of the First."
"Everything was so vibrant; my eyes couldn’t take it all in — I wanted to see everything and learn about it all. But what struck me the most was the hall with scientific achievements displayed in chronological order. I realized how profound the science of our country is, and throughout the entire excursion, I was filled with a sense of patriotism, warmth, and pride for my homeland. I hope that all visitors to the National Centre experience the same emotions," shared Kirill, the commander of the "Yunarmiya" squad.
The captivating journey through the National Centre concluded in the "Legacy for the Future" gallery. The talented works of young artists and sculptors from various countries left an unforgettable impression on the schoolchildren.
"We saw so many wonderful paintings; these are unforgettable emotions, and I hope other guests can feel them too. These works carry so much energy — you can tell the artists poured their souls into them. No two paintings are alike; each has its unique meaning, and all are remarkable and captivating in their own way," noted Anastasia.
The young guests of the National Centre shared that upon returning home, they would undoubtedly tell their fellow residents about their new knowledge and bright impressions.
"I was especially fascinated by the exoskeleton, and the entire exposition left me with great interest and amazement. When I get home, I’ll tell all my friends about these incredible works," said Timur.
At the National Centre, the schoolchildren from Zaporozhye also attended a pre-premiere screening of the film "Aldan" — an interregional project about the Special Military Operation, created through the joint efforts of the Zaporozhye region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Of course, their visit wouldn’t have been complete without seeing Red Square and other iconic landmarks of the nation’s capital.
The National Centre RUSSIA was established by order of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to preserve the legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO and to showcase the achievements of the country and its citizens on a permanent basis. Federal government agencies, state companies, corporations, and regions take part in the Centre’s work.
