The Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" has started at the National Centre RUSSIA
More than
one hundred representatives from 48 countries gathered in Moscow, at the
National Centre RUSSIA, for the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World.
New Platform for Global Growth."
The event
is being held for the first time and aims to create a platform for discussing
the future of the global economy. The Open Dialogue will run for three days,
from 28 to 30 April.
Deputy
Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation
Maxim Oreshkin took part in the opening ceremony. He emphasized that this kind
of open international event is being held for the first time and noted the
importance of shaping a new global economy.
"I
would like to welcome you here today in Moscow, at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Indeed, this is the first time we are holding such an open international event.
Together with you, we will discuss new ideas, create new projects, and then
implement them for the benefit of our countries, for the benefit of humanity,
and for the benefit of our people. Thank you very much. Welcome to
Moscow," said Maxim Oreshkin.
As part of
the Open Dialogue, 696 works from 102 countries were collected, written in 18
languages, including Pashto, Malagasy, Serbian, Greek, and others. The topic
that attracted the greatest interest from the authors was "Investments in
Human Capital" (41%), followed by "Investment in Connectivity"
(24%), "Investment in Technology" (22%), and "Investment in
Environment" (13%). Expert pitch sessions will be held on each of these
topics.
"We
have launched a truly Open Dialogue, within which we received about 700 essays
from more than 100 countries around the world. People from all corners, from
all continents, shared their ideas about what needs to be done, what
interesting projects should be implemented in order to move the world
forward," added Maxim Oreshkin.
The
participants of the Open Dialogue represent 48 countries from all continents of
the Earth. More than 200 online interviews made it possible to select 101
authors who were invited to Moscow to participate in person. Alongside them, 24
world-class experts are taking part in the dialogue — scientists, economists,
students, young professionals, journalists, and representatives of the business
community.
The format
of the Open Dialogue is unique: amid the formation of a new economic reality,
participants are invited to present their hypotheses, ideas, and scientific
developments on the basis of equality, mutual respect, and cooperation for the
benefit of humanity. Over the course of three days, the participants will seek
solutions to key challenges of the present and shape guidelines for the
development of the future world.

The lecture "Come and See: The Feat of Newsreel Cameramen during the Great Patriotic War" took place as part of the "Thursday. Development".
The centre has become the first, unique, and multifunctional exhibition venue in Belarus, operated by the National Exhibition Centre "BelExpo."
On May 8, the audience at the National Centre RUSSIA enjoyed a performance by a combined children's wind orchestra, which launched the festive concert programme.
