On November 22, the National Centre RUSSIA will launch the project "Open School: Presentation of Best Practices." This educational and outreach platform is designed to facilitate the exchange of experiences and ideas among educators, young specialists, graduates of pedagogical universities, parents, and schoolchildren. The first event of the project will feature participation from the Kapitsa Phystech Lyceum.

In an engaging format of interactive lectures, the leading educators of this institution will showcase the most effective educational practices and share insights on how to apply them in real life. Representatives of the teaching community, students, and their parents will benefit from expert talks on pressing topics related to the educational process.

Participants will learn about new project opportunities for schoolchildren, discuss the role of hybrid professions and their importance in shaping the environment for a new generation, practice scientific debates, and explore innovative approaches and tools that help educators find unconventional solutions in their work.

Among the invited participants are Marina Mashkova, Director of the Kapitsa Phystech Lyceum; Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA; Andrei Bogdanov, Executive Director of the Phystech Schools Development Fund and Head of the Lyceum’s Technopark; Yelena Salnikova, Deputy Director for Scientific and Methodological Work and Head of the Biology and Chemistry Department of the Lyceum; Andrei Kiselev, architect, illustrator, and teacher; Nikita Kalinin, Head of the Theatre Workshop of the CreativeTech program at the Lyceum’s Technopark; Oleg Samsonov, teacher of history and social studies; and others.

The Kapitsa Phystech Lyceum, a general secondary school with a focus on natural sciences and mathematics, is named after Soviet physicist, engineer, and Nobel laureate Pyotr Leonidovich Kapitsa. It is a leading Russian institution for training highly qualified specialists in theoretical, experimental, and applied physics, mathematics, computer science, chemistry, biology, and related fields.

The main goal of the project "Open School: Presentation of Best Practices" is to support and enhance the educational environment. The initiative aims to provide an effective platform for discussing innovative approaches and ideas.

"Open School" is designed to demonstrate that school education can and should be both engaging and productive, capable of uncovering talents and helping every child achieve success in their country.

Participants of the project's events can look forward to vibrant expert presentations, demonstrations of best practices from educational institutions, valuable master classes for parents and schoolchildren, and much more.

The National Centre RUSSIA was established by order of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to preserve the legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO and to showcase the achievements of the country and its citizens on a permanent basis. Federal government agencies, state companies, corporations, and regions take part in the Centre’s work.
