The New Year mail service has been launched at the National Centre RUSSIA
Exchanging
holiday postcards is a cherished tradition loved by residents of our country.
It is especially heartwarming when wishes travel thousands of kilometers to
bring joy to the recipient. The National Centre RUSSIA now offers an
opportunity to send New Year’s letters to loved ones.
Ahead of
the New Year, the National Centre and Russian Post launched the project
"New Year Russia. Dreaming Together." Now, all visitors to the
National Centre can send messages with warm wishes to any corner of the world.
A special mailbox is located on the second floor of the National Centre, where
you can also find vibrant New Year postcards. The project has already gained
interest among visitors, who are happily sending messages to various parts of
our vast country.
"Some
of our postcards have traveled abroad: to India and Germany. I believe the
geography will expand. People really enjoy this project and participate with
great enthusiasm. Even children! Just now, kids from Chuvashia came by — many
were shy, but in the end, they wrote their wishes because they wanted to
delight their moms, dads, grandmothers, and grandfathers. Most children were
signing postcards for the first time and felt a bit lost, but together we
succeeded. The wishes turned out to be very touching and kind," shared
Alexandra Iskhakova, an employee of the National Centre RUSSIA.
You can
send postcards not only to relatives and friends but also to yourself — to bring
joy to your future self with a heartfelt message from the past. The project
"New Year Russia. Dreaming Together" will run until January 20.
The
National Centre RUSSIA was established by order of the President of the Russian
Federation, Vladimir Putin, to preserve the legacy of the International RUSSIA
EXPO and to showcase the achievements of the country and its citizens on a
permanent basis. Federal government agencies, state companies, corporations,
and regions take part in the Centre’s work.
The National
Centre RUSSIA is located at 14 Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, Moscow. The
Centre is open from 10:00 to 20:00 every day except Monday.
One of the tracks of the Open Dialogue is "Investments in Human Capital." The pitch session on this topic brought together over 30 speakers.
One of the key topics for discussion within the initiative became "Investments in Connectivity," which attracted 24% of the essay authors about the future of the world.
The pitch sessions on four tracks took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on April 28, with the participation of authors whose essays were selected by the expert council of the National Centre.
