The Amur Region Days continue at the National Centre RUSSIA. On 23 September, Governor Vasily Orlov signed a number of agreements aimed at stimulating the cultural development of the region.

Thanks to an agreement with the Sergei Bezrukov Foundation for the Support and Development of Socio-Cultural Projects, a unique event will take place in the Amur region in spring 2026 — "Echo of the Grand Kids Festival". This is a special programme of the Grand Kids Festival, within which theatres in different regions of the country host screenings of the best plays, films and animated films for children and young people that have won awards at the Grand Kids Festival.

"We have agreed with the Foundation that the first festival in the Amur region will take place from 20 to 26 April 2026. In addition to the productions themselves, leading figures of culture and art from across the country, led by Sergei Bezrukov, will hold workshops, lectures, directing labs, seminars and meetings for children of the Amur region. I am confident that our cooperation with the Foundation will give additional momentum to the development of theatre in the region and attract children’s interest in this art form," noted Vasily Orlov.

It is planned that the festival in the Amur region will be held annually. The Grand Kids Festival is part of the national project "Family" and is carried out within the framework of the federal party project "Culture of the Small Motherland", with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

Training of creative youth in the Amur region became part of another agreement, signed with Major General Timofei Mayakin, Head of the Military Band Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The agreement provides for cooperation in developing wind music in the Amur region. The festival of military bands "Vivat, Amur", which has already been held in the region for three years, enjoys great popularity. Under the signed agreement, in municipalities where the bands perform, musicians will conduct classes for students of music schools.

Specialists note that in the three years that the "Vivat, Amur" festival has been held in the Amur region, more young people have enrolled in the wind instrument department at the regional college of culture.
