A postage stamp was dedicated to the International RUSSIA EXPO
Russian Post has released a stamp dedicated to the International RUSSIA EXPO. The stamp depicts the official symbols of the event.
The ceremony of the stamp's solemn issuance took place in the "World of Digits" pavilion at VDNH during the opening of the International RUSSIA EXPO. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko and Director General of Russian Post Mikhail Volkov.
The circulation of the stamp will be only 72,000 copies. Its face value is 80 rubles - this is enough to send a simple and registered letter or a simple parcel.
"According to international ratings Russia is among the top ten countries in terms of digital transformation and this is not the limit. We continue to improve. The President has instructed us to achieve the necessary level of digital sovereignty. The tools of the national program "Digital Economy" help in this. This means that all the latest technologies presented here will help us develop and set trends and a new vision for the whole world," said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
"Russian Post ensures the territorial connection of our country. There are post offices in the most remote locations, and who better than thousands of our employees knows how beautiful and rich in nature, people and achievements Russia is. The work of the RUSSIA EXPO clearly shows our modern victories and aspirations for the future. I wish the Forum to be a success, so that every visitor makes the main conclusion - Russia inspires!" - said Mikhail Volkov, Director General of Russian Post.
The International RUSSIA EXPO was opened on November 4, 2023, the Day of National Unity, on the territory of VDNH. The exposition demonstrates Russia's most important achievements in various sectors of the economy, including industry, energy, agribusiness, transportation, construction, information technology, science and culture, positive experience in the development of the country's regions, and promotes further international cooperation.
The exposition-forum will feature regional days and business weeks, a cultural and entertainment program, festivals of culinary traditions and a fair. All subjects of the Russian Federation, federal executive authorities, public organizations, state corporations, representatives of foreign countries will take part in the event.
Young participants of the workshop "Modelling — a Prototype with Your Own Hands," held on May 31 at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The history of Russian architecture, bold concepts, and Soviet urban planning projects realised across the globe were presented to delegations of the exposition on May 31.
The award ceremony for the winners of the All-Russian video essay contest "Dreams of the Future" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA on June 1, International Children's Day.
