06.01.2023

The Minister of economic development of the region Andrey Razborov and the representatives of higher educational institutions discussed the region’s exposition at the meeting held in Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov.

"The concept of Saratov region exposition is connected with the large-scale infrastructural changes that’s been taking place in the region in the recent years. They are aimed at achieving the main goal — improving the quality of life", — said Andrei Razborov.

In two weeks, the universities of the region will prepare their scenarios of organizing the exposition to highlight projects, events, places of interest and best developments of the region.

Saratov region is the most "wheat" place of the Volga region, the homeland of the best varieties of durum wheat in Russia. One of the largest sunflower oil plants in the country is situated here, and Khvalynsky national park in the northeast of the region is called "Volga Switzerland" for its breathtaking landscapes.
