Vladimir Putin met with participants and winners of the Family of the Year and This Runs in Our Family contests at the All-Russian Family Forum Dear – Loved Ones.

The Dear – Loved Ones forum is held from January 19 to 23 on the site of the International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH. More than a thousand people take part in the forum. They include family dynasties from every region of the country, families with many children, young and adoptive families, families of heroes of Russia and veterans of the SMO.

In 2023, the Family of the Year contest was held for the eighth time. It was attended by 384 families who won at the regional stages. The winners were determined in five nominations: "Family with Many Children", "Young Family", "Rural Family", "Golden Family", "Family - Keeper of Traditions".

About 600 thousand people (more than 100 thousand family teams) from 89 regions of the country together with their relatives living in 81 countries are the participants of the contest This Runs in Our Family. Until January 31, the remote stage of the contest is held, where families perform tasks on a variety of topics. In 2024, district semifinals and the final will be held.

The Dear – Loved Ones forum will end with a bright concert on the Main Street Stage of the RUSSIA EXPO and a colorful ceremony of lightingthe Heart of Russia family hearth, which fire will go to all regions of the country. The concert will start at 20:00, admission is free.
