On February 23, volunteers of the National Centre RUSSIA held the #LETTERTOAHERO campaign to express gratitude and support for military personnel, timed to Defender of the Fatherland Day. The campaign was organized in cooperation with the "RT. Doc: Time of Our Heroes" festival.

Guests and employees of the National Centre RUSSIA, participants and experts of the III International Festival "RT. Doc: Time of Our Heroes," guests of the Defender of the Fatherland Day festive concert, and the volunteers themselves wrote messages to the front line.

For the event, 1,500 special forms were prepared, on which guests wrote their messages and then folded them into triangle letters. The main goal of the event was to express support for the military personnel of the Special Military Operation and to strengthen the connection between the soldiers on the front line and those they protect.

"#LETTERTOAHERO is more than just a campaign. It is an opportunity to say 'thank you' to those who defend our country. I believe that when a soldier receives a letter from a stranger, they will feel that their efforts are appreciated not only by their family and fellow soldiers but by every compatriot. And this will surely give them strength to achieve victory," said campaign participant Vagif Kantemirov.

The letters became a symbol of unity, pride in the country, and respect for the heroes of our time.

"I wrote a letter to a soldier serving far from home. I wanted him to know that we remember him and are proud of him," shared Anna from Korolyov.

The letters collected during the #LETTERTOAHERO campaign will be delivered to military units to boost the morale of the soldiers and remind them of the gratitude of their compatriots.
