Volunteers at the National Centre RUSSIA awarded "Volunteer of Russia" badges

Participants in the National Centre RUSSIA's volunteer programme will receive the "Volunteer of Russia" badge, an honorary award recognising a significant personal contribution to the development of the volunteer movement. Seven volunteers from the National Centre RUSSIA are among 200 volunteers from different regions of the country named in Order No. 469 of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, published on the official "Volunteer of Russia" portal.

The National Centre RUSSIA nominated the candidates for the prestigious award. The main selection criterion was consistent involvement in the National Centre's volunteer programme. Through the programme, volunteers help organise and run expositions, forums, concerts, festivals and other events. They help visitors find their way around, accompany large delegations and create a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Alongside their work at the National Centre RUSSIA, the volunteers actively contribute to sporting, social, patriotic, educational and humanitarian projects. Some support veterans of the special military operation, take part in the donor movement or volunteer in media.

The recipients from the National Centre RUSSIA include MIPT student Ivan Vasin, teacher-librarian at Moscow School No. 1245 Anna Samsonenkova, volunteer Vagif Kantemirov, MAI student Daria Savosina, nursery teacher Anna Chernyshova, RUDN student Daria Dyakova and volunteer Yulia Kastalyeva. Together, they have contributed hundreds of volunteer hours to numerous events, from the International RUSSIA EXPO to the National Centre RUSSIA's flagship projects.

Established in 2024, the "Volunteer of Russia" badge recognises volunteers whose work changes people's lives, brings communities together, helps in difficult situations and demonstrates how individual initiative can make an entire country stronger.

Anyone can join the National Centre RUSSIA's volunteer programme. Upcoming events include the III International Symposium "Inventing the Future", the All-Russian Patriotic Forum, the "Creators" Forum and other major projects. Volunteers at the National Centre RUSSIA have the opportunity to be at the heart of events, gain valuable experience and help organise some of the country's largest events.
