The whole country in a miniature: the "Journey Across Russia" exposition continues to unite generations and continents
The interactive expo "Journey Across Russia" at the National Centre RUSSIA allows guests to travel from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka in just an hour. Here, the advanced technological developments harmoniously coexist with ancient cultural traditions, and the greatness of natural landscapes goes along with the bright pages of the historical legacy of all country's federal districts. The exposition resonates with visitors of different ages and cultures.
"We ended up in the capital for a few days, and it's very rainy today, so we decided to spend the day here. On the tour, we went all over Russia on a very large scale. I remember the Urals, Siberia, and the taiga most of all, as these are very remote parts of our country, and we rarely go there, and some people don't go there at all. There were some moments that were very interesting to learn, even to me at my age. And my daughter, who is only four and a half years old, followed the guide all the time and called me: "Mom, mom, let's go quickly, it is so interesting, let's keep watching." So, thank you very much, we really enjoyed it," said Elizaveta Nedelskaya, who came to Moscow from Rostov-on-Don with her daughter Arina.
Foreign guests also experience similar emotions. They admit that the project blurs borders, allowing everyone to find their own Russia and love it with all their heart.
"I have visited Moscow many times before, this is not my first time here. But I used to come mainly for work, and this is the first time I've attended such an exposition. It is very beautiful, it's fantastic, and I really liked it. Now I want to see other Russian cities. For example, go to St. Petersburg and Kamchatka, see whales and bears in the Far East, and try the local cuisine. I am happy to be in Russia and I am glad that this expo allowed me to get to know the beautiful places in your country," Omer, a guest from Istanbul, Turkey, shared his impressions.
The "Journey Across Russia" expo brings together history, traditions and modern achievements of all federal districts of Russia. Unique exhibits and multimedia installations tell about the natural, cultural and historical diversity of the country, show its main achievements in the field of science and technology.
An important part of the exposition is the Gastronomic court "Journey Across Russia. Food", a symbol of the gastronomic diversity of a multinational country. Admission to the "Journey Across Russia" exposition is free. It is open every day except Monday from 10:00 to 20:00.
On June 20, the Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
