"Energy of Love" exposition, opera festival and soul kitchen: what to do on Tuesday at the RUSSIA EXPO
The final
week of the Exposition has started. As always, visitors will be greeted with
bright displays and many interesting events. On Tuesday, July 2, you can watch
a movie, listen to opera, attend masterclasses and visit expositions.
EXPOSITION "ENERGY OF LOVE. IN MEMORY OF THE TEACHER" 6+
Until the
end of the RUSSIA EXPO, the Cinema Museum at VDNH can be visited for free.
Don't miss the costume exposition "Energy of Love. In Memory of the
Teacher" by students of the Moscow Art Theater School. The exposition is
dedicated to the anniversary and memory of the People's Artist of Russia
Eleonora Petrovna Maklakova, founder of the Department of Stage Costume at the
School of Stage Design Technology of the Moscow Art Theater School.
The
exposition features works by students - future stage costume designers. The
exposition includes costume design sketches by Eleonora Maklakova for the films
"The Magic Lamp of Aladdin" and "The Star and Death of Joaquin
Murieta," as well as costume models, ornament designs, headdress and
accessory reconstructions, costume details using texture and material
imitations, and technical drawings.

MASTERCLASS "MY FIRST SUNSET IN WATERCOLOR" 12+
Working
with watercolors helps to relax and develop visual taste. Guests can experience
this at the masterclass. Under the guidance of an experienced teacher, paint
the sea in the rays of the setting sun and add any details you wish. We will
use paper plates as the canvas to create an unusual watercolor souvenir.

Free film
screenings continue at the exposition. On Tuesday, you can watch a heartfelt
comedy about a not-so-lucky restaurant owner. Zinos Kazanzakis runs a slowly
declining restaurant on the outskirts of Hamburg. The few visitors are content
with the simple dishes he prepares and know the menu, which consists of a few
lines on one sheet, by heart. Quiet life goes on until all 33 misfortunes
suddenly befall Zinos. His wayward brother begins to regularly get temporary
releases from prison.

The
Governor's Symphony Orchestra of the Irkutsk Regional Philharmonic will present
a concert program featuring soloists from opera theaters in various regions of
Russia. The Russian Opera Festival is a vibrant summer musical event in the
Irkutsk region, held annually in the open air at the Taltsy Architectural and
Ethnographic Museum, a unique place for historical, architectural and
ethnographic monuments from the XVII–XX centuries on the picturesque banks of
the Angara River, where the beauty of music nature, and history come together.
