The RUSSIA EXPO received an award in the "Best Communication Project" category
A
professional business award ceremony in the field of advertising and marketing,
"Big Fish 2025," took place in Moscow. During the event, the winners
of the "Results of the Year 2024" competition were announced. Readers
of the marketing media Sostav.ru, together with top managers of brands,
advertising agencies, and media holdings, selected the best advertisement in
the country for the past year. The International RUSSIA EXPO received the award
in the "Best Communication Project" category. The diploma in the
"Best Leader of a Communication Project of the Year" category was
awarded to the Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia
Virtuozova.
"It is very gratifying that the RUSSIA
EXPO is being recognized by the professional community. But this award
rightfully belongs to all our visitors, who shared their experiences with
family and friends and returned to us with their families again and again. As a
result, the exposition became one of the ten most visited places on the planet,
attracting over 18.5 million visitors. Now, we continue to inspire love for
Russia, to speak about its achievements and beauty within the walls of the
National Centre RUSSIA. We invite everyone on March 1 to the opening of our
major expositions, 'Journey Across Russia' and 'The Birth of Scale,'" noted
Natalia Virtuozova.
Olga
Pilyavskaya-Binda, Advisor to the Director General of the National Centre
RUSSIA, spoke about how communication with the partners of the RUSSIA EXPO was
built.
"The
foundation of our joint work and communication campaign was the idea of
co-authorship. Within this concept, participants, partners, and the entire
country worked together to maintain a unified visual identity, implement public
and socially significant projects, and launch large-scale image campaigns. Most
importantly, we succeeded in uniting hearts. Russia is its people — every
citizen, their ideas, and dreams. With this vision, we move forward into the
future," shared Olga Pilyavskaya-Binda.
The
President of the Russian Academy of Advertising, Vladimir Filippov, highlighted
the scale of the RUSSIA EXPO.
"The
most large-scale event in the field of branding is, perhaps, the International
RUSSIA EXPO. Branding in its broadest sense. And most importantly — branding of
Russia itself. I would also like to acknowledge the effective collaboration
between the industry and the state. Thank you for an excellent professional
project," said Vladimir Filippov.
The
selection process was conducted transparently in three stages. Public voting —
where the entire advertising market participated, with 174,129 votes cast for
400 cases in 2024. The Board of Trustees — 14 industry leaders finalized the
shortlists based on the results of public voting. Expert voting — in 2024, 136
advertising market leaders cast 2,921 votes for 144 cases.
Students of the "Young Tour Guides School" recorded a message to Russian cosmonauts, inviting them to the "Journey Across Russia" exposition.
