Expositions about cinema, festival of professions and performances: events on March 20
The
International RUSSIA EXPO invites you to have a great time! Every day there is
a diverse cultural and educational program. On March 20, there will be
lectures, film screenings, masterclasses and meetings with interesting people.

The
Festival of Professions will continue in Pavilion C "Family. Work.
Longevity". Today you can attend a VR-presentation of professions in the
construction and agricultural industries, a presentation of the professions of
"veterinary doctor", "laboratory technician of chemical
analysis", "electrician" and "industrial mechanic", a
masterclass "Innovative Technologies: Potatoes of the XXI Century from
Test Tube to Harvest" and a presentation "The Perm Region Prepares
Specialists of the Future".
Pavilion I
will host a performance by an instrumentalist, a fashion show of national
costumes accompanied by a local lore expert's story about the history and
peculiarities of Bashkir attire. There will also be a performance of the
national dance ensemble of the Republic of Bashkortostan "Tangaur"
and Merited Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ilgiz Minniakhmetov.

The opening
of the "Beautiful St. Petersburg" season will take place at the St.
Petersburg stand in Pavilion No. 75. Here guests will be welcomed to an open
dialog and presentation of the book "St. Petersburg City Planning
Graphics", a lecture by People's Architect of Russia Nikita Yavein and a
lecture-talk by Olympic biathlon champion Dmitry Vasiliev.
Pavilion F
Gazprom will host a movie screening and a meeting with industry veterans. In
Pavilion 57 "Education/Decade of Science and Technology" one of the
most famous skydivers in Russia and all over the world Sergei Insarov will tell
children about traveling to the Arctic, polar romance and the spirit of
adventure.

The
screening of the documentary "I am at Home" will take place in the
Cultural Projects Zone of Pavilion No. 75, while the lecture "Sensible
Consumption: Trends and Lifehacks for 2024" will take place in Pavilion
No. 2 "SBER". The play "Behind the White Stone" which is
part of the "Voices of the Country" project will take place in
Pavilion No. 84 "House of Culture", and in Pavilion D "Our
Culture" the Russian State Library for Youth will present the project
"Science Fiction - Sounds! Unknown Famous Science Fiction Writers",
the purpose of which is to introduce the Exposition guests to famous science
fiction writers.
The
premiere of the movie "Under Two Skies" where sport becomes art will
take place in the Large Conference Hall of Pavilion No. 75. The film will be
presented by the project's inspirer, three-time Olympic champion Maria
Kiseleva, producer Andrei Mogirev, the authors of the film, Olympic champions
of different years, the Russian synchronized swimming team. At the creative
meeting right after the movie there will be an opportunity to ask questions to
the creators and champions.

No. 48 Farmers Fair 10:00 - 20:00
A Farmers
Fair in Pavilion No. 48 invites you to marvel at the variety and richness of
flavors. Cheeses, sausages, delicacies, Siberian berry jam, chocolate-covered
pinecones, black and red caviar from all regions of the country are presented
here. You can comfortably get to our Fair from Pavilion No. 75 by shuttles of
the route "Farmers Fair", No. 533 and K from the stop "Northern
Loop" at the entrance to the territory of VDNH. Pavilion No. 48 is within
walking distance of the "City Farm" stop.

Exposition
"My Heart is Full of Pity" dedicated to the anniversary of Alexei
German will allow you to see the "underside" of the world that the
director built together with the crew of the film "It's Hard to be
God". Exposition "Our People. The Universe of Leonid Gaidai's
Characters" is conceived and realized as an excursion into the world of
Gaidai's heroes. It consists of several sections, where each section talks
about "types" - characters of the same kind and social affiliation,
taking different guises from film to film, but invariably demonstrating their
true essence, characteristic of Gaidai's cinematography.
The Museum
of Cinema also offers to visit the exposition "Labyrinth of History",
the exposition "Handyman", the memorial "Sergei Eisenstein's
Study", the exposition "Oleg Yankovsky. In Dream and in
Reality", timed to the actor's anniversary and other bright exhibits
related to the history of the national cinematography.
Exposition "Between Light and Darkness" was opened on the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade. The exposition highlights a number of film works that analyze the deep trauma of the whole city and demonstrates that the spark of life, faith, courage and fortitude help to preserve the human face even in inhuman conditions.
Take transport to VDNH: routes 533 and K. Registration is required to visit. A free ticket is available on the museum's website or on the Exposition website.
The event
is organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and
the Arctic, with support from Norilsk Nickel PJSC and the Rosatom State
Corporation.

The
National Centre RUSSIA operates from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 22:00.
