Over 100,000 people visited the "Journey Across Russia" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA in six months
The "Journey Across Russia" exposition at the
National Centre RUSSIA marks six months since its opening. During this time, it
has become one of the most popular and vibrant spaces in the capital, where
every guest can, in just an hour and a half, travel across the entire country —
from the icy northern latitudes to the southern seas, from ancient monuments to
cutting-edge technologies.
Over this period, more than 100,000 people have visited the
exposition as part of about 9,000 guided tours. In the digital "Heart
Zone," guests have sent over 75,000 hearts — interactive
postcards in which they shared their emotions.
During his visit to the National Centre RUSSIA, President of
the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin toured the exposition.
"We truly have much to be proud of in a wide variety of
fields and in every region of the country without exception. These achievements
reflect the unique character of our multi-ethnic people and its millennia-old
history," said Vladimir Putin.
The exposition was also highly praised by Prime Minister of
the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
"Such expositions give visitors, and importantly young
people, a sense of the scale and power of the state, its potential and the
opportunities available to every citizen. And, of course, to the regions and
businesses. Guests will discover new names, products and services,
technological innovations produced in our regions. All of this can be
experienced right in the centre of the capital," noted Mikhail Mishustin.
The exposition "Journey Across Russia" has also
been visited by foreign leaders. President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik
attended the event. He was impressed by the guided tour organised by Natalia
Virtuozova, Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, and noted that he
had learned much new information, expressing his gratitude. He emphasised that
everyone should visit the exposition.
During her tour, Vice President of Uganda Jessica Alupo paid
special attention to Kuzbass — one of Russia’s key industrial regions. She was
particularly interested in the geographical location of the Kuznetsk Coal Basin
— one of the largest coal deposits in the world. Equally impressive to the
distinguished guest was the full-scale replica of the KAMAZ racing truck,
inside which is a 5D cinema, allowing visitors to trace the truck’s journey
from its assembly on the conveyor belt to an extreme race across the dunes of
the African desert.
In addition, delegates from more than 100 countries have
visited the exposition, including politicians, diplomats, political scientists,
urbanists, architects, journalists and representatives of other professions.
They agreed that getting to know our vast and diverse country should begin
right here.
"At our exposition, we take a journey across the great
country in just 90 minutes. Visitors see the northern lights, smell the scents
of the Siberian taiga, ride along the Volga on the modern river vessel Meteor
120R, harvest crops from the endless fields of Russia’s Black Earth region, and
much more. I hope the tour inspires guests to explore our homeland further and
to contribute to multiplying its achievements in every field," said Yelena
Shatyrenok, guide at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Entry to the exposition "Journey Across Russia" is
free as part of guided tours, which are available by advance registration on
the website russia.ru in the "Events" section.
