Chemical industry, fuel and energy complex and down fashion show: Volgograd region at the RUSSIA EXPO
One and a
half thousand major investment projects worth about 1.7 trillion rubles - the
Volgograd region presented its achievements on the Day of the Region at the
RUSSIA EXPO.
"In
the year of the 80th anniversary of the Stalingrad Victory, precisely on the
Constitution Day of the Russian Federation, at the unique RUSSIA EXPO, the
Volgograd region is entrusted with the right to represent the greatness of our
Fatherland, the power and strength of Russia, its multinational people", - said the Volgograd region Governor Andrey Bocharov at the opening of the main
program of the Region Day.
The
Volgograd region's economy is based on industry, including chemistry and
petrochemistry, non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy, mechanical engineering. Oil,
gas, bischofite, potassium salts and other minerals are extracted here. Modern
processing plants are in operation.
The guests
of the Exposition were presented with a mobile application for teenagers Mobile
Psychologist. There was also a drawing for vouchers for recreation and
treatment in the Volgograd region.
The Volgograd region stand offers mobile printing of unique postcards with wishes and sights of the region. In the zone of cultural projects there is a Down Fashion Show - unique products of Uryupinsk craftswomen. And in the gastronomic pavilion you can taste dishes prepared according to traditional Volga and Don recipes.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. During the whole period of the Exposition, guests are welcomed with cultural and entertainment events, a rich business and educational program. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. The International RUSSIA EXPO is held at VDNH in Moscow from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024.
A panel discussion "Integration of the Special Military Operation Heroes into Civilian Life" was held at the National Centre RUSSIA as part of the 3rd All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland — the Strength of Russia".
Among its key events were the signing of major agreements, the Twin Cities Forum, and the festival of cultures "Heart of the Motherland", dedicated to the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia.
Guests not only observed the process but also asked the craftswomen about the meanings and the everyday life of the Khanty and Mansi peoples.
