The Day of the Trans-Baikal region will be held on November 15 at the International RUSSIA EXPO in Moscow. The program includes a presentation of the region, a concert, as well as a unique wedding rite of the Semeiskie people.

"All Russian regions will be presented at the exposition. And our ministry is directly responsible for the region’s stand. But it is still in the process of creation. The day of the Trans-Baikal region at the exposition is scheduled for November 15. A presentation of the region is planned, a concert program is being prepared. There are a lot of interesting features that are typical for Trans-Baikal region", — said Denis Rysyev, deputy minister of economy of the Trans-Baikal region.

One of the brightest elements of the program is going to be a wedding according to the traditions of the Semeiskie people. The unique rite will be held specially for the guests of the event. In addition, scientific lectures, drawing of tourist vouchers are waiting for the participants of the exposition on the Day of the Trans-Baikal region. It will be possible to buy Trans-Baikal souvenirs and get acquainted with culinary traditions of the region at the gastronomic festival.

As a reminder, the International RUSSIA EXPO will start as early as November 4. It will be held in Moscow at the VDNH and will end on April 12.
