The National Centre RUSSIA invites guests to enjoy works of art from all over the world — paintings, photographs, sculptures, and art objects. Each piece is interesting in its own way and evokes different emotions. For example, the art object "Body" literally invites the viewer to look inside themselves.

The work by Liu Shuang, a student from the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, is impossible to miss. It depicts parts of the human body seemingly "floating" in the air. Upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that at the artist's will, the skin, muscles, bones, and internal organs have ceased to be an organized anatomical structure, instead taking on unusual artistic forms. This is an attempt to reflect human perception of the body and the associations connected with bodily experience.

"This is a body that does not consist of the organs we are used to. It is shown through our thoughts, dreams, memories, and sensations. It is not the physical side, not the living embodiment, but the body through the lens of artistic perception," said Olga Dodonova, a guide at the National Centre RUSSIA.

The art object created by Liu Shuang makes one reflect on how much space bodily issues occupy in the modern human mind. The body often becomes a source of complexes, an object of envy, and even shame. This is why it is so important to treat oneself with care and focus more on the inner state rather than external attributes.

"Legacyfor the Future" is a large-scale project by the National Centre RUSSIA, promoting the idea of a multicultural dialogue about the world's future, with humanity as its core.

The exposition presents works by young artists from six countries: Russia, China, India, Brazil, Ethiopia, and Iran. Through their art, these creators offer personal responses to contemporary challenges. They reflect on the present, express their attitude towards the past, and contemplate the future.

Visitors to the National Centre can explore the exposition independently or join free guided tours, available in 30-minute or one-hour formats. Registration is available on the website under the "Events" section.

The National Centre RUSSIA was established by order of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to preserve the legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO and to showcase the achievements of the country and its citizens on a permanent basis. Federal government agencies, state companies, corporations, and regions take part in the Centre’s work.

The National Centre RUSSIA is located at 14 Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, Moscow. The Centre is open from 10:00 to 20:00 every day except Monday.
