The National Centre RUSSIA concludes its second day at the trade fair INNOPROM in Tashkent
The stand of the National Centre RUSSIA at the trade fair
"INNOPROM. Central Asia" in Tashkent has become one of the most
visited spaces. This was driven not only by the wide range of products on
display, but also by live demonstrations of traditional crafts from Yugra and
the Kirov Region, which attracted particular interest from visitors. Guests
were able to observe the creation process up close — from working with rovduga
to painting Dymkovo toys — and speak with artisans, which made the exposition
more interactive and memorable.
"National Centre RUSSIA is being presented abroad for
the first time at the International Industrial Trade Fair "INNOPROM.
Central Asia". This is very important for us, as Russia and Uzbekistan
share centuries-old ties. We see strong interest in our stand, and this is no
coincidence: everything presented here has been made by domestic producers with
care and dedication. Our shelves are emptying before our eyes. Uzbekistan has
given us a very warm welcome. Thank you very much for your hospitality!"
said Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova.
Like the first day, the second day also saw the stand rank
among the most popular at the trade fair. On 21 April, it was visited by staff
of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Uzbekistan, diplomats, as
well as bloggers and representatives of Russian and international media.
Natalia Virtuozova spoke with each of them and highlighted some of the most
notable items presented at the National Centre RUSSIA stand.
Artisans Maria Igisheva and Yelena Fedotova demonstrated the
technique of crafting a small yet illustrative item — a rovduga pincushion.
This traditional craft is widely practised in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area
and is considered part of its cultural heritage. Meanwhile, member of the Union
of Artists, Larisa Ushakova, introduced visitors to the technique of painting
Dymkovo toys and offered detailed insights into this craft of the Kirov Region.
At the Department Store RUSSIA in Tashkent, 50 domestic
producers from 39 regions of the country are represented. The most popular
items among visitors include roly-poly dolls from Kotovsk, sugar-powdered
cranberries, seafood-infused chocolate from Primorye, cushions with goldwork
embroidery from Torzhok, and herbal teas made from Siberian herbs.
On 22 April, visitors can explore the National Centre RUSSIA
stand and take home products filled with meaning and crafted with care. The
Department Store offers products across six categories: "Delicacies",
"Accessories", "Folk Arts and Crafts",
"Cosmetics", "Tableware", and a special clothing collection
featuring quotations from the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir
Putin.
At the trade fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia", the dialogue of cultures is becoming increasingly visible, expanding in scale and resonating with new audiences.
A master meeting with Konstantin Pridybaylo was held as part of the Young Journalists School project at the National Centre RUSSIA.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing partnership relations and possible formats for implementing joint projects.
