"This is where our family began": the story of Ariel and Viktoria was written at the National Centre RUSSIA
Ariel Eldarov and Viktoria Shaulova were married in December 2024 at the first wedding ceremony ever held at the National Centre RUSSIA — a continuation of the RUSSIA EXPO tradition. The couple returned here once again — this time expecting their first child.
"For me, this is a great miracle. I could not have imagined that my next visit to the National Centre RUSSIA would come halfway towards the goal I spoke about at our wedding. We are expecting a baby, our wonderful daughter. I hope that when she grows up, we will come to the National Centre together and show her where our family was created," said Ariel Eldarov.
The story of Ariel and Viktoria shows that the National Centre RUSSIA is becoming a place where not only cultures and traditions come together, but hearts as well.
The First All-Russian Wedding Festival was held during the RUSSIA EXPO from 12 to 19 May. Marriage ceremonies for couples from across the country were accompanied by the presentation of the symbolic flame of the All-Russian Family Hearth "Heart of Russia". The extensive programme also included presentations of wedding traditions from Russia’s regions, colourful wedding processions in traditional dress, themed workshops, tastings of wedding cuisine from different parts of the country, and an exposition of traditional wedding attire.
The second All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts" was held at the National Centre RUSSIA from 8 to 10 July. The event brought together more than 200 couples from across the country. In addition to the marriage ceremonies, the festival featured themed public talks, gastronomic presentations, master classes, concerts by pop performers, and other events.
