Women at the RUSSIA EXPO told how to combine family and career

At the panel discussion "Combining the Traditional Role of a Woman Mother and Professional Career" women from different spheres shared their experience of self-realization and career building, as well as the secrets of family happiness.

"I am very happy that it is on this women's holiday that our panel discussion is taking place, where we can talk about the most important and meaningful things for us. The best women of our country are present here today - they are wonderful wives and mothers, at the same time they are both public figures and high-class professionals. They successfully combine career and family. And their success in both fields clearly demonstrates this," said the moderator of the discussion, president of the "Russian Land" Foundation, the author of the program to preserve the historical memory of women's contribution to the Victory and traditional family values "Blue Handkerchief" Anna Danilova.

The participant of the discussion Svetlana Slegtina is not only a representative of a completely non-feminine profession - she is a pilot of a Boeing 777 passenger airplane of Aeroflot, but also a deputy of the Tambov Regional Duma. Svetlana Slegtina said that she started flying one of the world's heaviest passenger airplanes at the age of 26, and at that time she was the youngest female pilot of such aircrafts in the world.

"Besides, I am a deputy of the regional Duma, and a year ago I also became a mother. When I was preparing for this event, I approached my husband and asked him what he thought about a woman combining family and career. My husband said with a laugh - tell the session that you just left me no choice. I guess my secret is that I manage to do everything - because I'm not afraid to take on everything. And, of course, my support and pillar is my family," she said.

Irina Nesivkina, academician of the International Academy of Management, expert in corporate education and consulting, founder of the UNITY Center for Positive Technology and System Solutions, shared her cases of success: "I consider my strong quality the skill and ability to listen, hear and listen to myself. This allows me to be in a resourceful state. Only a strong woman can lead large projects and set ambitious goals. I do not agree with the statement "a woman's strength is in her weakness". And in general - where have you ever seen weak women?"

Sefijat Magomedrasulova, first deputy chairman of the Makhachkala Assembly of Deputies, chairwoman of Dagestan regional branch of "Women of Business" organization, chairwoman of the Russian Movement "Mothers of Russia" in the Republic of Dagestan, head of the community "The Power of Mothers", concluded the panel discussion, emphasizing that all the gathered women represent a bright example of excellent self-realization both in career and family life.

"Today after our wonderful event I am flying to St. Petersburg for the contest "It Runs in Our Family" as a senior expert. I am a mother of many children - I have four children. A wonderful husband who understands me: I am very often on the road, and he waits for me patiently. I am convinced and I am sure that family is the most important thing," said Sefijat Magomedrasulova.

The panel discussion "Combining the Traditional Role of a Woman Mother and Professional Career" was held in the Rosneft pavilion at the RUSSIA EXPO. Rosneft employs more than 110 thousand women.
