Honey meadow. Republic of Bashkortostan
You always want to add "Bashkir"
to the word "honey", don't you? Honey and products based on it form
the image of the republic not only in Russia, but also in the whole world.
Since ancient times, local residents have been engaged in wild-hive beekeeping
- collecting honey from forest bees. According to experts, the Bashkir bee "is
the greatest jewel from the point of view of genetics".
Our exposition is inspired by the hot Bashkir meadows, the rays of the sun, the smell of honey and the steppe wind. The garden is a glorification of the hardworking bee and the hardworking man. From pollen to honey barrel - the way of the most golden gold.
The center of the composition is a Burzyan bee, the producer of the
famous Bashkir honey, and the fruit of its labor - barrels with honey. Between
the barrels there is a symbolic representation of a widespread Bashkir plant -
the Ural rippensame, also called "kurai".
The plant composition of the "Honey Meadow" consists of
cereals and flowers, both perennials and spring primroses - everything that the
bee loves so much. The dendrological assortment includes turfgrass and feather
reed grass, as well as oregano and thyme, which are often found in the fields
of Bashkortostan. Clumps of alpine carnation, meadow geranium, catnip and sage
look like splashes of oil paint on the canvas. Inclusions of primroses are
bright symbols of the cycle of life.
