From a volcano to the ocean. Kamchatka region
Kamchatka is a real place of attraction. People come here
for the beauty of nature, and for new sensations that are born at the junction
of the power of volcanoes, the Pacific Ocean and the unstoppable energy of its
inhabitants. The dynamic development of all spheres of the region's economy in
harmony with nature is the key to Kamchatka's prosperity and to growth of new
opportunities for its residents.
The volcano symbolizing the Kamchatka region became the
center of the composition. It is framed by plants resembling the flora of
Kamchatka forests, tundra and coastal zones.
The volcano figure is made of transparent panels of
different shapes. Each panel symbolizes one of the natural elements and one of
spheres of the region’s development. The shades of the panels give you an
association with the seasons of a year and show the peculiarities of the local
flora in different seasons. Also, different colors — symbols of the seasons and
the elements — will be displayed by the plants of the main exposition.
The composition of the flower garden divides the exposition
into several natural zones of the peninsula:
"Halaktyrsky beach" — an area with black volcanic
sand of the Halaktyrsky beach of the Pacific Ocean;
"Pacific Ocean" — blue lobelia flowers symbolize
the sea element;
"Volcano" — red leaves of Coleus bloom imitate
volcanic lava;
"High-mountain tundra" — green bushes of wall
cotoneaster make a reference to the plants of the volcanic tundra.
Along with the RUSSIA EXPO, the flower festival is also coming to an end.
The "Future in Flowers" festival continues at the RUSSIA EXPO, where unique flowerbeds from all regions of our country can be seen at the "Space" pavilion until July 8.
The RUSSIA EXPO concludes on July 8, and with it, the flower festival will also come to an end.
