Industrial Tula. Tula region
The flower
composition of the Tula region is based on the idea of showcasing the
industrial power of the region. The central metal element symbolizes the
metallurgical industry, and its shape resembles robotic arms used in conveyor
production.
The bright
begonia flowers inside the central installation represent sparks of flame
bursting from an improvised blast furnace. As beautiful as real fire but not
really burning, they add dynamics to the entire composition.
Trailing
plants placed at the edges of the flowerbed, seemingly flowing down, symbolize
lava that solidifies into stone fill. The fill is decorated with more textured
elements — gypsum spheres and spherical thuja.
Unusual
strawberries called "Charovnitsa" ("Enchantress") are
planted at the edges of the flowerbed. Their life cycle begins in the
laboratory. The strawberries are cultivated at the Scientific and Production
Center for Biotechnology "Phytogenetics." Their propagation is based
on hormonal treatment of plant tissue, which stimulates the formation of
additional axillary buds and shoots.
Along with the RUSSIA EXPO, the flower festival is also coming to an end.
The "Future in Flowers" festival continues at the RUSSIA EXPO, where unique flowerbeds from all regions of our country can be seen at the "Space" pavilion until July 8.
The RUSSIA EXPO concludes on July 8, and with it, the flower festival will also come to an end.
