The land where a soul of an immortal warrior lives. Chechen Republic
Unyielding
and warlike in appearance, the Chechen mountains are like a sea that rebelled,
raged, boiled and suddenly, by someone’s will, froze into stone. In the heart
of the rocks the blue lake Kazenoy-Am shimmers. It looks like a blooming giant
edelweiss which is shrouded in the scents of alpine herbs. One of the best
republic’s tourist complexes is located here. People from all over the country
come to this complex seeking good health and vitality, searching for
spirituality and faith.
The beauty
and augustness of these cherished places are reflected in the floral
composition of the region. A mini-copy of Lake Kazenoy-Am, made of decorative
glass — erkleuse, is in its center. It is surrounded by mountains made of
magnesite, basalt and quartz blocks, and of Shahan marble. The composition is
complemented by pine trees, junipers, silver helichrysum and ever-blooming
begonia.
One of the
floral symbols of the region is the Alpine aster (Aster alpinus). To see it in
natural conditions, you will have to climb the mountains to the altitude of
more than three thousand meters. This flower personifies the proud spirit of
the Chechen people and blooms with bright colors on the mountain sides in late
autumn.
Along with the RUSSIA EXPO, the flower festival is also coming to an end.
