Digitalization and Innopolis: the Volga Federal District will be showcased at the "Journey Across Russia" exposition
On March 1, the National Centre RUSSIA will launch a new project, "Journey Across Russia." This large-scale exposition will highlight the achievements of all federal districts of our country. The section dedicated to the Volga Federal District will introduce visitors to global digitalization and one of the country's largest IT clusters — Innopolis.
The Volga region exposition at "Journey Across Russia" will be divided into several thematic zones, focusing on industry, natural landmarks and mineral resources, as well as technological advancements.
Visitors will be greeted by an unusual guide — Max the robot — who will share insights on the IT breakthroughs achieved by Russian developers and engineers. Among the interactive exhibits will be a circular screen displaying information about the district's leading enterprises in the aviation and automotive industries. Additionally, visitors will find a KAMAZ truck featuring a built-in 5D cinema.
In the multimedia zone "Digitalization," visitors will find information about Russia's global digitalization efforts and one of the country's largest IT clusters — Innopolis. Here, by pressing large keys on an interactive keyboard, guests will be able to explore high-tech domestic developments, learn about IT education, and discover emerging trends in the industry.
During the all-Russian survey "What does the Motherland begin with?", people across the country are answering this question in their own way, opening up the innermost corners of their souls.
Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
