Wonders of Valdai, rafting and balneological resort — the Novgorod region stand at the RUSSIA EXPO invites you on a journey
There are 37 UNESCO monuments in the Novgorod region, and
only in this land you can read the history on birch bark letters. The richest
collection of bells and chimes from all over the world, a unique biosphere
park, water rafting routes, the oldest balneological resort, a 17th century
monastery complex with a miracle-working icon - the exposition of the Novgorod
region at the RUSSIA EXPO invites tourists to get acquainted with the richest
natural, cultural and historical heritage of the land.
At the stand of the Novgorod region at the RUSSIA EXPO you
will be guided not only along the mysterious Valdai trails, but will also be
introduced to dozens of other interesting tourist destinations. Here millennial
history and the future are intertwined in a fairy-tale immersive art story.
On weekends you can learn the basics of playing the gusli
(psaltery) or the ancient balalaika, take part in masterclasses - for example,
learn to weave birch bark, mint coins or weave Krestetsky stitching.
