Employees of the State Memorial and Natural Museum-Reserve of I.S. Turgenev "Spasskoye-Lutovinovo" worked at VDNH.
Visitors to the Orel stand were shown a video presentation of the museum. A large screen displayed photos of the museum-reserve, the museum house's exhibits, the "Exile's Wing," tours, museum activities, festivals, and programs.
There was also a masterclass titled "XIX Century Postcard." Participants created a handmade gift postcard in the style of the XIX century, learning about its features, materials used, and the rules for signing and giving such postcards.
Everyone could participate in the quiz "Sketches from a Hunter's Album," diving into the world of Turgenev's prose and competing with others in their knowledge of the plots from " Sketches from a Hunter's Album". At the masterclass on writing a letter using Ivan Turgenev's phrases, participants could use a real quill and ink.
Additionally, there was a museum lesson dedicated to the birds inhabiting the Spasskoye Park. Under the chatter of bird calls recorded in the alleys of the museum-reserve, pavilion guests made figurines of the feathered residents of Spasskoye and took photos by the Turgenev Oak with the birds.
