Yekaterina Andreyeva invites teenagers to join the Young Journalists School at the National Centre RUSSIA
The
National Centre RUSSIA is continuing to accept applications for the second
season of the Young Journalists School. Teenagers aged 12 to 17 who want to
develop their journalism skills and learn from practising professionals are
welcome to take part. Yekaterina Andreyeva, a presenter of Channel One's
"Vremya" ("Time") news programme, will be one of the
project's mentors. She will share insights into the profession and explain how
modern journalism works.
"What matters most is being able to spot a story, ask the right question
and listen to the answer. You can learn all of this at the Young Journalists
School at the National Centre RUSSIA. Listen to your heart and join us. I'll be
waiting for you there!" said Yekaterina Andreyeva.
Tuition at the School is free, and no media experience is required. What
matters most is curiosity and a desire to try your hand at journalism. To take
part, complete a creative assignment and submit an application by 20 October
inclusive.
The Young Journalists School, a major original project of the National Centre RUSSIA, welcomes school and college students aged 12 to 17 from across the country.
The first intake of the Young Journalists School marked the beginning of a large professional community.
At the stand, the First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office also met with graduates of the first cohort of the National Centre RUSSIA Young Journalists School.
